Privacy Policy

All data you enter in the Tolvi app (names, species, dates of birth, photos, and vaccination records) is saved only locally, on your own device. None of this information is sent, copied, or synced with our servers or any third party's.

This website (tolviapp.com) currently does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics tools. If that changes (for example, to adopt a privacy-respecting analytics tool), we will update this page and, if required by law, show a cookie notice before enabling any tracking.

If you use the location search, your browser asks for explicit permission to share your approximate location. That coordinate is used only to query the public OpenStreetMap (Overpass) API and show nearby results. We do not store it on any server, nor associate it with your identity. You can deny the permission and search by city manually instead.

If you choose to add a photo of your pet or vaccination card in the app, it requests camera or gallery access only at the moment you tap "add photo". Images are saved in the app's storage, on your device.

The app uses local notifications (scheduled by the operating system itself) to remind you of upcoming vaccinations. We do not use an external push service for this.

If you subscribe to Tolvi Premium, payment processing is handled entirely by the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your card or payment method data.

You can export your app data as a PDF at any time, and delete all data saved on your device under Settings → My data → Delete history. This action is immediate and cannot be undone, since there is no copy on any server.

We do not sell, rent, or share your pet's data with third parties. The only network request that carries data you provide is the location search described in item 3, made directly from your browser to OpenStreetMap.
